POSHPAWS PLAY PADDOCK
PRIVATE DOG WALKING FIELD NEAR HOUGH GREEN STATION / TARBOCK,
WIDNES

RULES OF FIELD USE
-
The field is situated at the end of a cul de sac with residential houses. Customers MUST NOT wait in this cul de sac for the previous user to exit, as it will cause unnecessary disturbance for the residents and for the customer currently using the field.. The gate to the paddock has a sign with our company logo on it, so look out for that.

-
The gate to the adjoining field is very close by. The gates to POSHPAWS PLAY PADDOCK and the adjoining paddock must be kept clear AT ALL TIMES so as not to block access to either gate.

-
Access to the field itself is one car width along a hardstanding track. Drive your vehicle onto the track. Do not leave vehicles outside of the gate or parked in the cul de sac.

-
Under no circumstances should you drive your vehicle onto the field itself. There is no turning area so you will need to reverse out at the end of your booked time slot, hence the importance of not blocking access whilst waiting to use the field yourself.

-
Once inside the field, lock the padlock as tight as you need to, to ensure your dog can't escape and then scramble the code on the padlock. to prevent anyone else being able to enter the field whilst you're using it.

-
When you're happy that the field is as secure as it can be, let your dog out of the car and enjoy your playtime!!!

-
Please pick up all poop and your litter and take it away with you, plus any toys that you may have brought with you.

-
Don't remove anything else that belongs on the field.

-
The field contains trees and bushes and as such, there are natural hazards such as tree and leaf debris, twigs, raised roots, uneven ground etc. Please avoid walking on the flowered areas so the field remains looking beautiful. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the terrain and weather conditions, especially in the Winter when the field can inevitably get muddy and puddly.
-
At the end of your time slot, reverse the entry procedure and make sure you lock the gate and scramble the code on the lock when you exit. You MUST NOT leave the field unlocked or let anyone at all into the field after you, even if someone is there waiting. They have been given a code for the padlock and only legitimate users will have that code.

-
Dog numbers are limited to 6, human numbers are limited to 3, car numbers are limited to 2. Please contact us if you would like to request alternative numbers.

-
The field is regularly checked for security and cleanliness. We understand that occasionally you don't see where your dog has pooped, we've all done it!! So if you come across a poop, please be a good citizen and pick it up. Someone will hopefully do the same for you on other occasions.

-
If you see anything on the field that has become hazardous or may pose a security concern, don't hesitate to contact us. We can't rectify anything we don't know about.

-
If you feel that a previous user has misused the field, report that to us too, so we can be aware of any issues as they arise.

NOISE AND COURTESY

-
Whilst we want you and your dog to enjoy yourselves, please be respectful of our neighbours and don't allow unnecessary barking or shouting. It is a beautiful, peaceful spot so let's keep relationships with our neighbours at their best. Occasionally there are horses in the field adjoining the Play Paddock. The fence has a 6 ft plus screen on it so that the dogs and horses can't see each other, but obviously they may hear each other as they move around. If there are horses present (very infrequent), please discourage your dog from jumping up at the screen and startling the horses.

-
Please do not allow your dog to dig anywhere on the field.

-
Please ensure that your dog is in good health before using the field and has been regularly treated for worms and parasites.

-
Please be respectful of any equipment, benches, paddling pools or toys that are present on the field. They are there for everyone's use and benefit. Please report any damage , should you come across any.
